Installations for Blind Rivet Nuts and Self-clinching Nuts

Blind rivet nut and Self-clinching nut are for fastening thin plates, but the installation is different, while the way of the installation greatly determines the use of a nut.

Blind rivet nut is installed by a riveting gun, so that they are suitable for use in square tubes or round tubes where press riveting is not easy to handle. Self-clinching nuts are also used in the chassis and cabinet sheets, the nut is riveted by the use of riveting machine. The benifit is that the plate after riveting self-clinching nuts is very smooth, there will be no bulge.

The most important point is that the blind rivet nut can be used on the finished and semi-finished products, while self-clinching nut must be used in the sheet, because the finished product is not suitable for riveting machine operation.
