What Is The Rivet Stud?

The
rivet stud is also called the rivet nut column,it's a common fastener bring applied to assemble and fix the sheet metal.
One end of the rivet stud is hexagonal,while another end is cylindrical.There is a tool withdrawal groove with internal threads which is connected to both ends.
When fasten the rivet stud,press the hexagonal head into the preset hole by the press machine,therefore,the perimeter zone of the hole would generate plastic deformation,then the deformation part would be pressed into the tool withdrawal groove,as a result,the rivet stud has been fixed very tightly on the metal sheet.
3.The classification of the rivet stud
According to the type of the hole,the rivet stud has been divided into the through-hole rivet stud and the blind-hole rivet stud;while according to the material,the rivet stud has been divided into steel rivet stud and stainless steel rivet stud.Besides,on the basis of the internal thread style,the rivet stud has been divided into the SO type,SOS type,BSO type and BSOS type.
