What to Know about Rivet Nuts?

Riveted nut is a nut applied to the sheet or sheet metal, it is round, end with the embossing teeth and the guide groove. The usage principle is that pressing embossing tooth into preset holes in sheet metal, generally, hole diameter slightly smaller than the embossing teeth. The pressure makes embossing teeth boffins into sheet that caused the periphery of the hole to plastic deformation. When deformation is extruded into guide grooves, resulting in the locking effect.
